HEY HONEY
This buzz-worthy stamp set illustrated by Stephany Zerbe will have you buzzing with excitement. Hey Honey, features a peek-a-boo bear, beehive and multiple build-a-bee images and loads of sentiments that are perfect for a variety of occasions like friendship, hello, birthday and just BEE-cause!
HONEYCOMB COVER PLATE
Delight your recipients when you create beautiful projects with this A2 sized honeycomb patterned cover plate die. This timeless pattern is sure to look fabulous paired with Hey Honey stamp set, Stacked Honeycomb dies, and an endless array of images and sentiments.
STACKED HONEYCOMBS
This 9 piece Stacked Honeycomb die set will be an essential addition to your die collection. This set features a classic hexagon shape in a variety of sizes perfect for layering and creating an endless variety of sweet designs.
HONEYCOMB STENCIL
The Honeycomb Stencil designed features a classic honeycomb pattern.
Today’s introductions have me buzzing with excitement!! I absolutely love creating, “Just Bee-cause” cards and that’s what I’ve created for today’s sample. I started by sponging distress oxide inks using the Honeycomb Stencil. I wanted to really push that pattern back so that the bear and beehive would be the main focus; so I created a second panel by die cutting a few of the Stacked Honeycombs and then layering it over top of the honeycomb pattern using foam tape.
Before adding the top card front layer, I gave the stenciled layer a couple of spritzes of shimmer spray to add a sheer and subtle sparkle.
I stamped the beehive on the same cream cardstock as the front panel and colored it with Copic markers. The bee bodies were stamped in yellow while their wings and stripes were stamped in a dark espresso brown and then cut out with the coordinating dies. The bear body, muzzle, and nose were cut from cardstock using just the coordinating dies which I then lightly inked around the edges. I then stamped his features (eyes, mouth, and ears) and the sentiment in dark espresso ink. I was able to create lots of depth and dimension by assembling all of the various elements with foam tape. I especially love the bee on the bear’s nose!! The look of surprise on his face cracks me up!
