STRIKE UP THE BAND
Craft delightful musical scenes with this lovable marching band composed of 7 harmonious critters who are sure to put a song into your heart. With the included accents and versatile sentiments, you’ll create sweet melodious paper crafting goodness whatever the occasion.
CARD FRONT ELEMENT BUILDER II
If you thought our original Card Front Element Builder was versatile, wait until you see everything that you can do with Card Front Element Builder II. This 6 piece die set includes everything you need to create dazzling A2 card fronts and more. Easily create perfect layers with the pierced card base panel, or create multiple designs with the skinny stripes. Use the fishtail banner to create tags or use on your card fronts to feature images or sentiments. The pierced circle and wave banner are essential design elements for both stamped sentiments and images. This die set is sure to be a favorite that you will reach for over and over again.
There is so much cuteness with today’s introductions! I just love the sweet expressions on all of the adorable critters in this set, you can’t help but smile.
To begin this card, I cut the large pierced panel out of white cardstock measuring 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches with the SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder II die set. I’m totally head over heels for the skinny stripes that are a part of this die set and couldn’t resist using them as well along the lower half of the panel. Next, I did some Distress Oxide ink blending and then stamped a few of the musical notes in the background and once that was done, I spritzed it with Shimmer Spray.
I then set about stamping the little animals, coloring them with Copic markers and afterward cutting them with the coordinating SugarCut dies. I added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to all of the instruments for added detail and dimension. I arranged my little marching band in a line and adhered them with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped underneath the images in Versafine Onyx Black ink.
