LIFE IS A PICNIC
Celebrate Summer with Life Is A Picnic. This buildable die set includes everything you need to create the perfect picnic lunch. From the classic picnic basket, bottle of wine, cheese, baguette, and fruit. And no picnic would be complete without an ant! All you need to add is the fun! This die set is ideal for invitations, anniversary and friendship cards, or even to celebrate your favorite Aunt!
SUNSHINE
This sweet and simple 2-piece Sunshine word and shadow die is in a whimsical handwritten font and is perfect for adding to gift tags, cards, treat packaging, and more!
SUNSHINE SENTIMENTS
Be someone’s ray of sunshine with the Sunshine Sentiments stamp set. This stamp set features the word “Sunshine” in a whimsical handwritten font. The clean, bold companion sentiments will pair up well with just the die, the stamped word alone, or the two used together. Perfect for sending a little sunshine on notes, cards and tag gifts that will brighten anyone’s day.
Nothing says summer like good company, good wine and a perfectly packed picnic basket. For my card today, I combined one of my favorite dies from our 2021 Spring Collection, the Spring Scene Builder Cover Plate with the NEW, Life is a Picnic die to create my ideal summer picnic scene.
Essential Ingredients:
- SugarCut – Spring Scene Builder Cover Plate
- SugarCut -Life Is A Picnic
- SugarCut – Sunshine
- Sunshine Sentiments
- Skinny Stripes Stencil (to create gingham picnic blanket)
Step By Step Instructions:
- Cut brown, green, white, and blue cardstock using the SugarCut – Spring Scene Builder Cover Plate die and assemble the scene pieces together as you would a jigsaw puzzle.
- Using the Skinny Striped Stencil, brush/sponge Candied Apple Distress Ink onto white cardstock – then rotate the stencil 90-degrees and brush/sponge the stripes again for the perfect gingham pattern.
- Cut white and yellow cardstock using the SugarCut – Sunshine word die and assemble.
- Stamp complementary sentiment from the Sunshine Sentiments stamp set with Versamark ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder and trim.
- Cut all of the pieces from the Life Is A Picnic die and assemble.
- Add gold mini brads to the picnic basket handles to create a fun and interactive feature.
- Arrange scene and glue die cut pieces to card panel.
- Adhere the panel to a cut and scored A2 white cardstock base.
