NAUTICAL NOTIONS
Discover an ocean of possibilities with our Nautical Notions die set. This set includes everything you need for creating nautical themed cards, tags, scrapbook pages and more with the buildable life preserver, sailboat, ships wheel, crab and anchor.
WAVES OF LOVE
Send friends and loved ones Waves of Love. This adorable set features a walrus and his little fish friends and is perfect for creating ocean themed friendship and birthday cards, or other ocean-themed crafts!
Today I’m sharing one of my favorite type of cards to make, one that features absolutely no stamping, just good old die-cutting fun! There’s something so relaxing about creating die cut only cards – especially when you’re playing with an exceptionally awesome die set.
Essential Ingredients:
- SugarCut – Nautical Notions
- SugarCut – Ahoy
- Captain of My Heart Stamp Set
- SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder
Step By Step Instructions:
- Using the Nautical Notions die, I chose a classic color combo of red, navy and white cardstock to cut all of the pieces.
- Assemble and glue together die cut pieces.
- Cut white and navy cardstock using the SugarCut – Ahoy word die and assemble.
- Create a panel with white cardstock using the large scalloped die from the SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder die.
- Add varying thicknesses of foam tape to the back of die cuts to create depth and dimension.
- Arrange and glue images to card panel.
- Adhere the card front panel to a cut and scored A2 white cardstock base.
- Stamp a complementary sentiment from Captain of My Heart stamp set.
