Hey everyone! Stephanie here with you today on the SugarPea Designs blog with a fun project featuring the new Salty Seagulls stamp set.
I had on my mind to use all the elements from the set, but still wanted to create a one-layered project. So I decided to divide my project into three smaller sections.
First, I drew two lines with a permanent pen (like a Copic Multiliner) and a ruler to separate my coloring cardstock into three sections. Next, I started playing with the birds from the Salty Seagulls set and creating a scene.
To add a more whimsical touch, I also stamped a few accessory elements, like a bowl of fries, chatting bubbles, etc.
After that, I colored all the elements with alcohol markers.
TIP: Adding an horizontal line at the bottom of each section helps visually separating them!
Finally, I completed each part with its own sentiment, making sure they all work together for a cohesive image, then ran the panel into my diecutting machine with the largest stitched rectangle from the SugarCut-Card Front Element Builder III set and adhered it to my A2 cardbase.
I hope you liked this one-layered project! A bit different from my pirate project from last week, but still fun!
