Good Morning SugarPeeps!
We’re teaming up with the Coffee Loving Cardmaker team for a fun Collaboration Hop in honor of National Iced Tea Day! All of the details for the hop, prizes and how you can join in the fun can be found HERE.
Being from the south myself, (Georgia Girl – born and raised) I’ve had Sweet Tea running in my veins since birth. I couldn’t wait to brew up a fun little Sweet Tea card for today’s hop.
I started with the skinny stripes found in SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder II and cut it out multiple times in various shades of blue/green cardstock and then once more with white cardstock. Next, I sponged Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto the white cardstock panel. I colored the Pucker Up images with Copic markers and cut them with their coordinating dies. the images were adhered with foam tape to create depth and dimension.
I brushed on Wink of Stella on the tea pitcher and glass and then added a THICK layer of glossy accents to give it some shine. My sentiment was stamped in black directly on the white cardstock panel.
