A Warm Welcome and a Fond Farewell

Good Morning, SugarPeeps!

Please join me in welcoming our March Guest Designer, Angel Rivera.  We are all in for a real treat this month as Angel’s designs are simply divine and we are so excited to have her joining us.

My name is Angel Rivera and I’ve been stamping for over 8 years.  I started out as a scrapbooker back in the days of decorative-edge scissors, lol!  While stationed in Hawaii, I went to a Stampin Up! party and loved the instant gratification of card making, so now I only scrapbook here and there.  I’ve been married to my handsome hubby for over 20 years and we have 3 boys ~ 17, 14 and 11.  We met while I was active duty Air Force ~ I served 4 yrs & he will hit 22 yrs of service this month!  I’ve always said that crafting helps keep me SANE!  

Along with our fabulous guest designer, we are very excited to be welcoming two new full time designers to the SugarPea Pod.

Please welcome the creative genius, Lisa Lara.  Lisa is no stranger to our SugarPeep’s – as one of the original ProjectPea DT members, we are so honored that Lisa will continue to bring us her brilliant and creative designs.

We are thrilled to introduce Brianna Loeffelbein, as our newest SugarPea designer.  Brianna’s sweet and whimsical designs will delight you and are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

Hello, my name is Brianna. I live in northern Minnesota with my fabulous hubby and our 3 year old son Jayden, with another little bundle of joy on it’s way, coming August 2015. We also share our small little home, with our two fur babies Shih-Tzu’s, Dutchess and Shadow. I work full time as a store manager for our local UPS Store for the past 9 year and just love it, I love being around people and just adore my customers. When I’m not working you can find me spending as much time as possible with my little peanut, husband, parents & siblings.
I have been crafting for as long as I can remember, it all started after finding some old rubber stamps my mom had when I was about 8. I started my blog about 3 years ago and haven’t looked back since, it was possible one of the best crafty decisions I have ever made. My style, I would say is fun, bright & whimsical, I  enjoy making cards but also like making 3D paper crafts and  home décor pieces.  I also dabble in crocheting, beading and sewing.  I want to thank my friend Wendy for having me.  I am so thrilled to be a part of the Sugar Pea Design team…I have been a fan from the very start!!

 

As we welcome new friends, we also must say a fond farewell to our ProjectPea Design Team.  As SPD has continued to grow, I felt the need to simplify things and made the difficult decision to have only one design team. Since the ProjectPea design team term was ending in February, it just seemed like a logical time to bring things to a close.  I am really going to miss Kerri, Cathy, Shanna and Cibele.  They are all so incredibly sweet and I am so very grateful to each of them for sharing their amazing talent with me.  I sincerely hope that you will continue to follow these ladies blogs so that you can keep up to date in all of their creative endeavors.

All sorts of NEW sweetness is on the way!!  The team and I are busily putting the finishing touches on Sweet Sneaks for our March release starting on Monday.  I know I say it each release, but this one rocks my socks and I can’t wait to show it to you!
