Hi there! Kerin here with you and today I’m sharing a fun Valentine’s Day card. Can you believe Valentine’s Day is only a week away?!? It seems like we just turned over the calendar to a new year!
I started by stamping and clear embossing hearts from the Caffeine Addict set onto white card stock. I went for a bit of a falling hearts look. Next I sponged on three ink colors: light pink, medium pink and red, blending them together as I went. It made for a fun and easy background! My mind was racing with stamps and color combos I could use for other occasions using this technique!
I started out with a full card front size, but then decided it would be cute to use the Birthday Journal Card SugarCut to create a fancy edge. I’m a huge fan of layers, so I added white, pink and red behind my stamped background before mounting it to my card base.
Finally I picked two sweet sentiments from the Go-pher It set and combined them on a Stitched Flag SugarCut to finish it off.
