Hi there! Kerin here with you today and I’m sharing a fun, easy treat holder you can make for Valentine’s Day! Have you checked out the variety of paper pads available in the SugarPea Designs store? There are so many neat designs in each pad! For the treat holders above I used the Spots & Stripes Brights, Sugar & Spice, and Happy Holidays pads. Yes, that’s right, I used the Happy Holidays pad! There are so many neat designs in each pad, and I thought the fun chevron paper from the Happy Holidays pad would be perfect for this project!
Each paper pad measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″, so to begin I just trimmed off a bit of one side and started with a piece 4-1/4 x 4-1/4″. Then I added a strip of double sided tape to one edge:
Next I rolled the paper onto the double sided tape to create a tube:
Then I added a piece of double sided tape to one end and adhered it together, and filled it with Hershey’s Kisses:
Next I added double sided tape to the other end, but this time I adhered it in the other direction:
Finally, I added a tag which I made using the Special Delivery Accent SugarCut (On Sale right now!) and the “Be Mine” from the Go-pher It stamp set. It’s fun to use different colored envelopes with each paper design!
