Hello and welcome!
It’s Tatiana here with you today! I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog today and to share with you a clean and simple card made from one stamp set called Merry Makers.
Merry Makers set has a few super cute elves and so I decided to challenge myself and make a card using only one stamp set. To start I stamped all the characters on Strathmore Bristol paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink since it’s waterproof, colored with water based markers and fussy cut leaving a little white edge around.
Here’s the complete list of all the markers I used:
TOMBOW MARKERS: n.885, n.947.
ZIG CLEAN COLOUR REAL BRUSH MARKERS: n.41 Light Green, n.50 Yellow, n.51 Lemon Yellow, n.61 Light Brown, n.64 Oatmeal, n.71 Flesh Colour, n.72 Beige, n.91 Light Gray, n.94 Gray Brown.
I was not satisfied how the elves were fitting on a regular A2 size card base and so I prepared a longer one measuring 7½” x 3½” from a plain white cardstock. I also trimmed an additional rectangle slightly smaller than the card base where I die cut 3 circles using Zig Zag Stitched Circles SugarCuts. Before starting assembling everything together, I stamped the sentiment using the same Merry Makers set and the same VersaFine black ink.
Finally I popped all the elements on a foam tape and added a fun dotted pattern to the card base using Spots & Stripes Brights paper pad.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!
