Cheers Mate! Grad Card

Hello, Friends! It’s Kelly here today sharing an unexpected graduation card! I think it’s safe to assume that none of us have had our fill of this amazing LondonScape SugarCut! I knew that it, paired with the super fun “Cheers, mate” sentiment, could make something fun and out of the ordinary for a High School graduation design. I’ve fallen completely in love with ALL of the sentiments from the Chic Wishes stamp set and it will only be a matter of time until I’ve stamped them all! Which one is your favorite?

To begin, I die cut the smaller postage stamp panel using the Postage Stamp SugarCut. I blended it with some Distress Ink and then stamped the stars, which are also from the “Chic Wishes” stamp set at full strength. I love how they look twinkling above the London Skyline! I die cut the London Scape twice out of black cardstock and adhered them together using foam squares. I really wanted to easily give the buildings dimension. I showed a few other ways to achieve dimension with these skyline dies during the release! They are so fun and versatile!

I absolutely adore how the Diagonal Striped Coverplate looks paired with the postage stamp die cut pieces. It really gives it a postal look. I die cut it in black and then adhered it to an A2 card base.

I stamped the sentiment in black ink directly underneath the skyline.

I spritzed the entire piece with shimmer spray for some sparkle and shine, just perfect to celebrate the graduate! A few sequins finish it off! This has already been popped in the mail with some cold hard cash and on its way to its recipient! I hope you’ve found some inspiration on ways to use your stamps in an unexpected way to get more mileage out of them!
