Christmas Tags

The beginning of November and you know what that means? Time to get some work done for Christmas!! Jennifer Timko here with today’s inspiration and I’m working on tags. I love pretty packaging and tags really make the final gift special when they are handmade.

For today I share variations on the same design that you can fit to both your time and level of detail. I started with the tags on the right. After cutting some kraft card stock with the SugarCut – Snowflake Tag, I stamped on a tree from Always Welcome on the tag and added a sentiment from Every Day Sentiments. This is a great basic tag and easy to reproduce in bulk. Also, my boys will never use fancy tags even when I leave them out specifically for the task. So this is perfect for them. Now for ME…I created something a bit more stepped up. I used the same tree but stamped on white card stock and cut with the coordinating dies. Same with the sentiment. And then, I added a bit of stenciling with white ink through the Falling Snow Stencil.

If you like the design but need something a bit more, well, shiny, I created the same thing but in white and gold. One design, two totally different looks. And one step closer to being ready for Christmas! Thanks so much for stopping in today, we are always so happy to share with you.

Love the tags you made Jennifer. With just a couple of extra steps you bumped up the look for those wanting a bit more pizzazz.
