Cute Vintage Thanksgiving Card {Video}

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here, and today I am back with a fall themed card with a vintage feel for you guys. There is also a video tutorial at the end of this post, which shows the step by step process for the creation of this card.

As a first step, I create an embossed effect on some pearlescent, light orange cardstock using the Leaf Cover Plate die. This will be the base of my card.

I then moved on and started working on my images. The stamped ones are part of the Indian Summer stamp set. I also used the Cutie Pie and the Floral Pocket tag dies to create the pie and the floral elements. Both the images and the die cuts were colored with Illustrator markers.

For the focal panel I die cut some watercolor cardstock with the Postage Stamp dies. I used a fun technique with Distress Oxides and the Buffalo Check background stamp to create a watercolor-like look.

I stamped the sentiment on some more watercolor cardstock, that I then ripped with my hands for a bit of a rustic feel.

I brushed Distress Oxide in Vintage photo on the edges of all the elements, in order to create an even more vintage-type look.

I glued everything on a top-folding A2 card base and that finished off my card.

As I mentioned, there is a video tutorial for you, which shows how to create this cute and vintage card, perfect for fall and Thanksgiving, too. I hope you like it! Click HERE if you’re unable to view the video below.

Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
