Starting up a stamp company is a dream come true. Having a group of ridiculously talented women in this industry lined up to be part of the premiere design team almost seems too good to be true. We are bursting at the seams with pride over our design team!
Over the next few weeks, we will gradually be revealing our design team members and there will be plenty of gift certificates up for grabs as we go… so stay tuned for a chance to win!
Lets get started with the first reveal!
Please welcome………….
“I am the Senior Clinical Social Worker at a private psychiatric hospital by day and a mad crafter by night. I have married for the past 13 years to my husband who tolerates my crafting addiction. I have an 11 year daughter and 9 year old son and both have inherited the crafty gene. I also have a 5 year old English yellow lab named Calvin who can often be found right at my feet as I craft. I have been stamping since 2009 since I innocently went to the craft store and bought a couple of clear stamp sets in the clearance bin to make Easter cards with my kids. Those 2 stamp sets have multiplied like bunnies over the past several years. I would save my family, my dog, and my copics in a fire. I love to sip on coffee in the morning and check out all my favorite blogs and then sip wine at night while I do my thing. I just completed a term for the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen and now I am thrilled to be taking on the role of Creative Coordinator for Sugar Pea Designs! I am happy to support my wonderful friend Wendy Ramlakhan as she jumps head first into the stamp company business and I can’t wait to show you all that we’ve got in the works for you!”
Kim O’Connell is my bestie and I couldn’t and wouldn’t want to do this without her!! She will be not only a design team member, but also the Creative Coordinator at SugarPea Designs! The whole idea of SugarPea Designs began several months ago during a phone call between us and the ideas started flowing. She has been a secret partner in crime from the very beginning in the development of SugarPea Designs. As the Creative Coordinator, she will continue to be involved in the behind the scenes development of upcoming releases, manage the design team, and assist in managing the SugarPea Designs Facebook page and blog. She has a knack for organizing things and keeping things running smoothly………and she can color like nobody’s business to boot!
To celebrate today’s reveal of our first design team member, we have a $20 gift certificate up for grabs! Here’s what you need to do to be eligible:
Follow this blog if you aren’t already.
“Like” us on the SugarPea Designs Facebook page
Follow Kim’s blog or “like” her Paper Perfect Designs Facebook page
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, November 19th at noon both here and on the SugarPea Designs Facebook page. Don’t forget to the add the SugarPea Designs fan badge to the sidebar of your blog. If the winner has the badge posted on their blog at the time we chose the winner, we will give away a $25 gift certificate instead!

October 4, 2014 at 8:50 amRight now it sounds like Movable Type is the best blogging platform available
right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you are
using on your blog?
