LET’S STAY HOME
Create cozy scenes full of of warmth and comfort with, Let’s Stay Home. This 4×6 stamp set includes all the necessities you’ll need with two comfy chairs, soft pillows, a warm blanket, books, a variety of houseplants, hanging lamps, your favorite warm drink and let’s not forget a curled up dog or cat for your rug!
TORN STRIPS STENCIL
We’ve taken the classic diagonal stripes and torn it up! Give your backgrounds an edgy look with our Torn Stripes stencil.
I’m in love with all of the cozy elements in the Let’s Stay Home stamp set – it is full of so many warm and cozy scene building possibilities.
I started by cutting a stitched card panel using the *NEW* SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder III. And those thick stripes in this die set were calling my name – making a fantastic area above for me to put together my scene.
Next I stamped and colored the images from Let’s Stay Home with Copic markers and cut the images with the coordinating – SugarCut – Let’s Stay Home die.
After layering the blanket image onto the chair with foam tape, I started to place the sleeping puppy on the rug. But who am I kidding? My dog has never slept on the floor so why should this sweet pup?
I used the Hello word die that is part of the *NEW* SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder III for my main greeting and paired it with a stamped sentiment from Let’s Stay Home. I really wanted to include the sleeping kitten in my design but would have made my scene feel too busy, so I opted to add it to my design by stamping it onto the back of a Tiffany Envelope along with my favorite sentiment from Let’s Stay Home.
