Happy Friday to you! Now that we’re into our second year of business, we thought it would be fun to do a “Flashback Friday” where we feature a stamp set or two that we released last year. Sometimes we will feature a card designed by one of our design team members and sometimes we will feature a card designed by one of our customers. Sometimes we will do both!
Today SugarPea Designer Brianna Loeffelbein is in the spotlight with a card featuring one of the very first stamp sets we released, Go-pher It! Brianna says, “This was my first ever SugarPea Design Stamp Set and is what got me addicted to keep coming back for more!”
Doesn’t he make you smile?! Brianna’s use of colorful papers compliments his colorful gemstones. Check out the sky behind the image! I love how she created the subtle clouds. She layered banners for the sentiments and added some enamel dots for colorful embelishments.
I went looking in blog land for one of our customer’s cards featuring this same stamp set and Lisa Henke’s card caught my eye!
I just love how Lisa cut around the image and layered him over the scalloped square piece of vellum. The sentiment stamped on the diagonally striped tag with perfectly tied twine bows is genius and adds such interest to the card!
If you would like to make the Go-pher It stamp set your own, you can find it HERE!
Would you like a chance to WIN a $10 gift certificate to our online shoppe?
Simple create a NEW card with an OLD set and by old I simply mean something that is NOT from our most recent release that is featured on the home page of the store. Link up your creation below. The winner will be announced next month when we do our next Flashback Friday post so you have plenty of time to get crafty and link up your creations! The more the merrier and the greater your chances to win! We can’t wait to see what you make!
