Gear Up For Some Fun!

Hello and welcome!

Tatiana is here from Tatiana Craft And Art. I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog!!! Today I came up with a cute birthday card featuring so adorable Love Machine stamp and die sets.

To start, I die cut two sweet robots and tiny bows from Neenah Solar White paper using Love Machine SugarCut. Next I stamped the coordinating images from Love Machine stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink since it’s copic friendly and colored all the images with copic markers.

In case you’re interested, here’re all the exact colors of copic markers used on the card: T0-T1-T3-T5; RV0000-RV00-RV02-RV04-RV10; YG00-YG01-YG13; Y0000-Y11-Y13-Y15-Y17 plus YR15; BG10-BG23.

The fun colorful and textured brick pattern used on the background was created through English Bold Brick Wall stencil. I mixed a plain white embossing paste with Spiced Marmalade Distress and Picked Raspberry Distress inks using a palette knife on a sleek, non sticky surface. I taped the stencil to a piece of a white cardstock, applied the orange colorful paste towards the bottom part of the rectangle and the pink tone from the top part, mixing both colors in the center for a gradient effect. Next I carefully lifted up the stencil and let the piece air dry well. Meanwhile I heat embossed the matching sentiment from the same Love Machine stamp set I used before and then assembled all the elements together with a bit of dimension. As a final touch I put a generous coat of a clear shimmer pen on top of the colored robots.

That’s all for today! Hope this simple birthday card will inspire you! As always thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Hugs,

Tatiana
