I’m convinced that the best way to get inspired to create is to clean or organize your craft space. You’ll discover products and goodies that have long since been forgotten that will jump start your creativity, which is exactly how this card was born.
While cleaning my studio, I came upon my Nuvo Glitter Paste and knew it would be perfect to use with the *NEW* Torn Strips Stencil. I softly blended Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks using a blender brush onto a scalloped panel cut with the SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder. I then laid the stencil on a diagonal so that the stripes would be vertical and spread on the Nuvo Glitter Paste.
While the glitter paste dried, I heat embossed a sentiment from Autumn Blessings onto a band of Kraft cardstock and added a few of the extra die cut floral pieces from SugarCut – Open Book that were still on my work space.
I created a coordinating envelope by stamping a few floral images from Beautiful Books onto a Sugar Cookie Envelope.

Some days I can re-discover a stamp set that inspires me to stop the work and just play. Love those rare days/hours/minutes. 🙂
