I saved my favorite card sample for last and it’s perfect for summer!
Don’t you love it when an idea turns out exactly like you had imagined?!?! Although there’s a vast array of products used on this card, everything came together rather quickly.
Essential Ingredients:
- Wave Stencil
- Sunburst Stencil
- SugarCut – Block Alphabet
- Sunshine Sentiments
- SugarCut – Sentiment Strips
- SugarCut – Stitched Scalloped Rectangles
- Salty Seagulls Stamp Set
- SugarCut – Salty Seagulls Die Set
- Waves of Love Stamp Set
- SugarCut – Waves of Love Die Set
Step By Step Instructions:
- Blend Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade distress oxide inks onto white cardstock
- Cut the ink blended cardstock with letters using the SugarCut – Block Alphabet die set.
- Create the water portion of the ocean background using the Wave Stencil, Tumbled Glass Oxide Distress Ink. Create the sky portion using Sunburst Stencil, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks.
- Stamp the images from Salty Seagulls and Waves of Love stamp sets in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Copic friendly cardstock.
- Color images with Copics and trim with the coordinating die sets.
- Stamp complementary sentiment from Sunshine Sentiments stamp set with Versamark ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder and trim.
- Cut sentiment using the SugarCut – Sentiment Strips die.
- Add foam tape to images and adhere to a Stitched Scalloped card front.
- Adhere the stitched panel to a cut and scored A2 aqua blue cardstock base.
