Happy Campers!

Hi Friends and Happy Monday! It’s Emily Mydlowski (@popsofpaper) and I’m here this week sharing two Happy Camper cards using the cute little RV There Yet? Stamp SetStarburst Cover Plate  and the along with the Spots & Stripes Pastels Paper Pad.

It’s summertime and for me that means fun trips to the mountains and boy do I wish I had one of these cute campers/glambors/RVs tailing behind our truck! I thought it would be fun to recreate my dream campers of two bright and cheerful cards.

Bright Happy Cheerful Trails To You!

For my first card, I stamped and colored the “happy camper” with bright red Copics and added in a few yellow and black pops of color to the flowers and drapes. For the background elements, I stacked white card stock “landscape” elements using the Starburst Cover Plate and the edger dies from the Card Front Elements Builder die set. I adhered the die cut panels to perfectly-sized A2 yellow polka dot patterned paper. To finish the card, I added the Happy Trails to You Sentiment with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, popped up the camper with some foam adhesive and added black/white polka dot washi for a little extra pop and to pull the design down just a little bit.

Happy Camper

For my second card, I had to use my favorite color palette: Pink, Aqua and Purple. I stamped and colored the camper and all the fun little accessories and critters using Copic Markers. Then I die cut the Sunburst cover panel from white card stock, adhered it to a pink polka dot A2 pattern paper. Then I added back in a few of the rays to the bottom of the card to provide a base for the posh camping scene.

So there we are friends, two fun happy camping cards. I hope you enjoyed these cards and look forward to see you next week! Big Paper Hugs!
