Hi everyone! Jennifer Timko here for my next Guest Designer post. Spring has really started to show itself where I live in Virginia, which means lots of beautiful flowers! Oh, how I love flowers.
It was silly to even pretend I wasn’t going all in on florals so the Meadow Motifs stamp set was a natural choice. So. Many. Gorgeous. Flowers! I blended pink into orange and then yellow to create the shading with Copic Markers. I went right to my YG markers for the perfect spring green leaves that also happen to perfectly match the Key Lime Pie Envelopes. I colored up one of the butterflies from the set in lavender as a contrast to the pink/orange.
Once I completed the coloring, I cut all of the images out with the coordinating SugarCut Meadow Motifs dies. To create the background, I inked some white card stock in Shaded Lilac Distress Ink and then cut the cover plate from more white with the SugarCut Large Striped CoverPlate die. The sentiment came from the multitasking workhorse Everyday Sentiments stamp set. Finally, I found some purple/green iridescent sequins in my stash to finish.
I’m so happy to be able to share again this week. Thanks for supporting this wonderful company and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
