Just a reminder before we get to today’s post…our Black Friday Sale is still going on, but you’ve only got through tomorrow so don’t hesitate!

Hello friends!

It’s Juliana and I’m super excited to be here sharing some SugarPea Designs inspiration with you. Today, I’m sharing a Coffee Cup Christmas card perfect for all the coffee lovers out there. To create this card, I used a mix of products from the recent release along with some of my favorites from previous releases. I really enjoyed mixing and matching all the stamps and dies to create this card.

To get started, I created my own background paper by stamping the snowflakes from the Flurry of Warm Wishes stamp set with Versamark Embossing Ink onto a piece of kraft cardstock. I then sprinkled them with clear embossing powder and heat set it using a heat gun. I love how the snowflakes shimmer like ice from the clear embossing powder!

To embellish the card, I used the Coffee To Go Cup SugarCut and die cut the coffee cup parts from different colors of cardstock.

I wanted to dress up the sleeve on the coffee cup and realized the small snowflake from the Snowflake Tag SugarCut was the perfect size to fit on the sleeve! To give the snowflake some pizzaz, I applied a piece of double sided adhesive to a piece of white cardstock and then die cut the image. After die cutting the snowflake, I peeled off the liner and sprinkled the now sticky die cut with glitter. This is an easy way to adhere glitter to detailed die cuts like this snowflake.

The green cardstock background behind the sentiment and coffee cup was die cut along the top and bottom edge using the current Sweet Incentive set – Stitched Borders 1. For the final touch, I created a custom sentiment by combing the You SugarCut with several sentiment stamps from the Flurry of Warm Wishes stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed learning how I created this Coffee Cup Christmas Card using a mix of stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs!

HUGS!

Juliana
