Happy Monday!!
Tangii here with another Guest post! This week I’ve made a little teacher goodie bag. My baby is graduating H.S. this year so I don’t do Teacher gifts anymore, but I have several friends that are teachers and I always try to make them some end of year fun thing. I used a burlap bag to hold my goodies, but Wendy has some great Mini Muslin bags that I think would work better! I used Sweet Sentiments Teacher and stamped the Apple, A+ and “teacher” directly on my Burlap Bag (the Muslin would have a more crisp look). For the record, I’m kicking myself for not getting the “Teacher” Sugar Cuts, the set is perfectly wonderful without it BUT it’s soooo stinking cute and would have come in handy!
For the bottom of the bag I used the SchoolScape Sugarcut. If I’d cut the die with just one piece of cardstock it would have looked great, but honestly I really wanted more colors and more “depth”. This die is TONS of fun! I chose to use it whole (though I had to cut off the last tree to fit my bag), but you could also cut and use the bus or the school house, etc. I did color my tree’s with a YG17 Copic and added some G28 for a little dimension.
Finally, the tag… I LOVE this tag! So simple, so bright and the message just POPS! I sponged a few Distress Inks around on a Gift Tag Die SugarCut.
And because most projects NEED a little ribbon I added a couple on my tag. Finally I filled my bag with some goodies and added a couple of smaller fake flower stems in the top. Voila!!! I’ll make several of these goodie bags, and then just vary the contents! That wraps up another week for me, thanks so much for popping by! Hope to see you again next week.
