Tatiana is here with you and I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog!!! Today I came up with a cute and sweet shaker birthday card featuring so adorable Hey Winter stamp and die sets.
Inspired by the graphic of the current March Mix It Up Challenge from SugarPea Designs, I flipped through my stash and found a super adorable Hey Winter stamp set that has many sweet images and different sentiments suitable for different occasions.
To start, I die cut from Neenah Solar White paper the small sitting bear using Hey Winter SugarCut along with a couple of accessories plus two balloons from Balloon Numbers SugarCut to complete a birthday scene. Next I stamped the coordinating images from Hey Winter and Balloon Numbers stamp sets with Memento Tuxedo Black ink since it’s copic friendly. Finally I colored all the images with copic markers.
In case you’re interested, here’re all the exact colors of copic markers used on the card: E000-E30-E31-E33-E35; RV00-RV02-RV10; YG0000-YG00-YG01-YG05; BG000-BG10-BG11-BG23; Y00-Y11-Y15; YR000-YR00-YR14; R22.
A regular A2 size (5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″) white card base was inked with Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink and embellished through Falling Snow Stencil with a gold glitter embossing gel. While the embossing paste was drying, I prepared a Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle where I die cut a circle inside using Zig Zag Stitched Circles SugarCut I adhered a piece of a clear acetate from the back side of the circle window to create a shaker area, filled it with some sequins and sealed to the card base with a foam tape. Finally I popped the colored image on the card front along with a heat embossed sentiment strip from Hey Winter stamp set.
