HedgeHugs Hello

Hello and welcome! Tatiana here today with my very first post as a SugarPea Designs Design Team member! I’m sooooooo excited to share with you a cute and simple, but super adorable card!

I thought it would be fun to say hello to all the SugarPea Designs fans and so I’m starting this Design Team with a cute hello card. To start, I stamped some cute images from the HedgeHugs stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Neenah Solar White paper. Next I colored the adorable stamps with Copic markers and fussy cut right against the stamp lines. Next I took a black marker with a brush tip and colored all the stamped edges to hide any imperfection due to fussy cutting.

I love die cut sentiments and so my choice was the wonderful Hello SugarCut. I die cut and stacked three layers on top of each other for extra dimension. The scalloped background frame die cut from the Card Front Element Builder set was inked with Distress inks in Tumbled Glass and Antique Linen. I also used a wavy line from the same Card Front Element Builder set to mask the “sky” and “ground” parts.

Last but not least I added a coat of a clear glitter shimmer pen and adhered the matching sequins from the Ocean Sparkly Shaker Selection sequins mix.
