Hi everyone! Stephanie here with you on the SugarPea Designs blog with a fresh creation that screams spring for me!
To create this card, I played with the latest release in store and honestly couldn’t stop! I first stamped all the flowers and leaves from the Friendship Blooms stamp set on a piece of watercolor paper.
Next, I colored them loosely with my Karin brush markers (I can’t stop playing with them lately; so relaxing with a flower set!). I added a little bit of color at the bottom of the panel all around the images so that they would pop even more, slowly fading towards the top.
When that was done and completely dry, I diecut the panel with the largest frame from the new SugarCut – Stitched Rectangles set. The stitching is just the right finishing touch and it fits perfectly onto an A2 cardbase, with foam tape to boot!
Finally, I diecut twice the SugarCut – Hello Block Word and mounted both letter sets with foam squares, slightly angled for a shadow effect. I completed the sentiment with a saying from the Friendship Blooms stamp set that was heat embossed in white onto a piece of navy cardstock.
