Hello and welcome!
I’m super excited to be featured on SugarPea Designs blog today and to share with you a clean and easy masculine card that contains a fun interactive element.
Today I played with a few new products from SPD spring release. To start, I prepared a regular A2 size card base inked with Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks and die cut new Musical Cover Plate to go on top. Next used Greatest Hits SugarCut and cut out a vinyl from a dark blue cardstock along with a small white circle embellished with the coordinating Greatest Hits stamp set. At this point, I also heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of a black cardstock and finally could start assembling everything.
Greatest Hits SugarCut die cut little circles in the center of the various elements and so I could insert a pin inside, poke another whole in the center of Musical Cover Plateand fix the pin on the back side. This way the vinyl spins around like a real one! I popped Musical Cover Plate on a foam tape and finished this project with some soft clear shimmer and a few matching sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!
