Now, let’s get to todays introductions.
If you are looking for the perfect stamp set and dies that are geared towards teachers, then look no further.
Class Act is packed full of adorable images that are perfect for creating paper crafted gifts and cards for your student or for all of the wonderful teachers in their life that deserve a big, thank you!! You’ll have even more fun creating with this great set when you pair the chalkboard image together with the four sentiments in a chalk-styled font for a fun and authentic chalkboard look.

____
SugarCut – Class Act is a coordinating die set to our Class Act stamp set (sold separately). Use them together to create quick and professional looking packaging and accents.
SugarCut – SchoolScape is a darling stand alone die from our Sweet Chic Collection. It offers plenty of whimsical details to create a fun school scene for your cards or scrapbooks. Designed so that the left AND the right ends of the die match up, allowing you to cut a continuous but different orientation of the scene. This charming border die also has no cutting lines along the bottom edge – giving you the ability to cut this SchoolScape design to any desired width size.
Sweet Sentiments – Teacher contain heartfelt sentiments that were designed to help you show your appreciation all of those wonderful teachers for the time, dedication and talent that they pour into our children. You will love the mix and match style of these sentiments which allow you to add the word “teacher” in a contrasting color.
Show your appreciation to those dedicated educators by creating heartfelt paper crafted gifts and cards with the SugarCut – Teacher word die. This unique word die features an fun apple with a heart center. Pair together with the Sweet Sentiments – Teacher stamp set to create quick and professional looking packaging and accents.
I started with a navy cardstock base and then added a sheet of patterned paper from the *NEW* Sugar & Spice paper pad. I love the gorgeous colors and patterns in all of our paper pads, but I really get excited about the “predesigned” papers in each collection. More and more I find them to be such tremendous time savers and are so much fun to embellish.
I cut the SchoolScape die first in coral pink cardstock and again in navy and white to decorate the windows and rooflines. After adhering the schoolhouse to white cardstock, I cut the schoolhouse once more, but this time using the stitched circle from the Popcorn Treat Box which I layered on top of a combination of cork and cardstock – both cut with SugarCut Layered Treat Label. I used navy cardstock once again with the SugarCut – Teacher die and stamped a coordinating sentiment underneath from Sweet Sentiments – Teacher and added a few enamel dots.

April 12, 2017 at 7:14 amMy 3rd grade teacher, Mrs Vick, was one in a million. She helped me overcome my shyness and really moved me forward in reading and reading aloud. I remember her great kindness and fairness. She was very special. 🙂

April 12, 2017 at 7:59 amMy first grade teacher was my favorite. She saw my strengths and encouraged me in those areas and made me feel special.

April 12, 2017 at 8:06 amAdorable die set, really like the road. Mrs. Gregory was a terrific teacher more so a very strong women. She taught English but more that that she taught many truths about how to live in the world while living for God. She stood up for what she believed in, even if it caused her problems. She believed that showing fear would lead to hurt, so when I screamed in class over a spider on my leg she took extra time to helped me with my phobia of spiders. Now when possible I shoo the little things out the door. I think of her every time.
Robin
April 12, 2017 at 8:13 amI love this set. Wish I was making cards when my girls were growing up. I have a wonderful sister in law who is an amazing kindergarten teacher and mother of twin boys who are autistic. She so deserves one of these cards.
Andrea Shell
April 12, 2017 at 8:20 amWow, these stamps and dies are awesome! I especially love the new Sugar Cut and the sentiments! I’ve had many wonderful teacher, but the one who stands out the most is my 11th grade English teacher. I learned SO MUCH from you (She’s also the reason I’m such a stickler for good grammar).
Andrea Shell
April 12, 2017 at 8:21 amWell, I should have proofread my comment as there was a typo. It should have read “many wonderful teachers.” Oh, the irony!

April 12, 2017 at 8:35 amI really love all of your designer’s teachers cards today. My favorite teacher is Bonnie Krebs from Art Impression Stamps. Her watercolor Wednesday videos have taught me how to use their stamps and I get so much pleasure out of it every time I make one.

April 12, 2017 at 8:58 amForgot to mention my special teacher. I will never forget Mrs. Watson in first grade. She started my school years off right and that was a long time ago.

April 12, 2017 at 8:57 amThese stamps and dies are just wonderful! My teacher heart totally is happy! I am most grateful for my 8th grade teacher who made me feel very special and encouraged me to keep striving to do my best even though being smart was considered VERY nerdy at the time.
Laura Schollaart

April 12, 2017 at 10:07 amWow! The DT really did a fabulous job with this release, so many wonderful cards! The teacher that comes to mind for me, actually wasn’t a favorite teacher, in fact…she made my 6th grade year a nightmare. She was strict, mean and gave so much homework that it was overwhelming. Years later when I went to Europe between my junior and senior year, she was a chaperone and we had a lovely time and became friends!
Kathy K
April 12, 2017 at 10:09 amAs a former pre-K teacher, I gotta say that these are my favorites from the release! One teacher that I still cherish memories about was my 4th grade teacher…she was so inspiring and really helped my through a tough transition to a new school.

April 12, 2017 at 10:09 amOh my gosh WOW the SugarPea designers really rocked these new products. Any teacher would be over the moon to receive one of these fantastic creations! I’ve had several teachers over the years that I would say were extra special (I feel lucky to say that) so it’s very difficult to choose just one!! I do remember though the fun way that my 3rd grade teacher made learning the multiplication tables easier and my 4th grade teacher instilled the love of reading into me. She read us the Witch from Blackbird Pond and a Wrinkle in TIME- both of which I LOVED.
Thanks so much for a chance to win today!

April 12, 2017 at 10:16 amThis is such a great set! I absolutely love the little book worm! The DT did another fantastic showcase of this release. My best teacher was my grade 9 science teacher. She was a nun and had a reputation of being mean and scary. And she was, but also the nicest teacher in the world. Science was one of my favourite subjects and she always pushed me to do my best. I played volleyball in high school and would sit in the hallway doing homework until practice and she would always stop and talk to me if she saw me, even through the years when she wasn’t my teacher anymore. Such a long lasting impression.
Lindar C
April 12, 2017 at 10:46 amYou know who’s going to LOVE this set.. Jennifer McGuire! And me!! That SchoolScape is adorable!! I love everything so far, might as well just direct deposit my check to you 🙂

April 12, 2017 at 10:50 amSorry, forgot to mention a special teacher. Mr. Padilla, he was a substitute teacher and was subbing for the History teacher, but instead of teaching History, he taught us how to count to ten…. in Chinese, that was 40 some odd years ago and I still remember how.
Sue LD
April 12, 2017 at 10:54 amLove the school theme.

April 12, 2017 at 11:13 amWhat wonderful teacher appreciation stamp sets! My special teacher was Mrs. Atcheson who taught me to love sewing. She insisted on professional results and taught us wonderful techniques and shortcuts.
Sharon O
April 12, 2017 at 11:15 amI knew that I wanted to be a teacher just like my 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Brooks! She was the kindest, most generous teacher I’ve ever met and I wanted to be just like her. I hope that after 45 years I made an impression on at least one of my students who could call me their favorite teacher! Love, love, love this release and can’t wait to play with it!
Cynthia O.
April 12, 2017 at 11:24 amThis is adorable and I love the fabulous DT inspiration! I had several teachers who inspired me. Mrs. Beck taught Home Economics at my school and was my inspiration to pursue a college degree in Clothing and Textiles.
Sandy G.
April 12, 2017 at 11:26 amAfter I retired I became a substitute teacher. I now understand what teachers got through on a day to day basis. It takes an incredible, kind, caring and patient person to be a great teacher. I love the new stamps dedicated to them and I would love them to create cards and send to random teachers in my district. Thanks for creating such wonderful products.

April 12, 2017 at 1:20 pmThis is definitely my favorite so far! I just love love love this set! My favorite teacher was in 7th grade…Mr. Greenfield…he was so fun and he never gave detention..instead, he would hand you a sheet of graph paper and by the end of the day you would have to hand it back in to him with every single square filled in with a letter, but it couldn’t be full of the same letter. So I would write him stories in mine! 🙂
Amy M.
April 12, 2017 at 1:50 pmThese sets are fantastic! My little guy started preschool this year so I’m just getting into making cards for teachers 🙂 My favorite teacher was my kindergarten teacher! I saw her again when I was in grade 12 and she totally recognized and remembered me – I was blown away 🙂

April 12, 2017 at 7:57 pmMy all time favorite teacher just passed away just before his 91st birthday. I was very close too him as he encouraged me and all of my classmates and three generations of students in our school district. April 12, 2017 at 8:22 pmCurrently my favorite teacher is my BFF Lynn. She teaches all of her students with such care and kindness that her students request to have her for classes over and over. She defines what being a teacher should be.

April 12, 2017 at 9:10 pmSuch lovely stamps and dies!! 15 years ago, I had just moved to the U.S as a wide-eyed, extremely shy and anxious girl in high school. All my teachers were kind, but my Spanish teacher truly saw me for who I was…she recognized my potential and unlocked it with her radiant smile, wise words and confidence. A decade and a half later, we stay in touch and she STILL makes a difference in my life with her wise words and kindness!! I got to meet her three years ago when I visited the state for a wedding. It would be an honor to make her a card with this set. It’s the least I can do for her influence…
Laura Gribble

April 12, 2017 at 9:32 pmI love this stamp set!! A favorite teacher of mine taught me high school calculus. I loved that she knew our individual learning styles, did things unlike other teachers (such as allowing us to take tests with a partner!) and clearly adored us as a group. She made all of us calculus key chains and put up with our silly teenage pranks.

April 13, 2017 at 7:57 amTeacher cards are the very best! These all look amazing! A special teacher in my life was a professor I had in college. He was such an expert in his field, and he wasn’t a warm, friendly guy. He was intimidating, and a really tough grader, but somehow he really made me want to do my very best. He never gave me any compliments or false praise, and I knew I wasn’t going to do well in his class just by being chummy with him. I earned an A and I was SO proud! The final exam was a grueling essay on the last day of class, and a week later during finals week, he returned our graded exams and I got a A plus! I was completely shocked! My male friend was in the class, and he was always mansplaining history to me (it was a particular history subject class), and he only got an A on his exam. I didn’t know this at the time, but he had gone to the professor and begged and begged him to tell him why he “only” got an A, knowing I had an A plus. Finally, the professor showed him my exam and told him that I not only listed the facts, but I told the beautiful story of these historic people. That was some pretty high praise he never told me himself. But I was able to do that because of Doctor W, because I felt that he pushed me to do my best, without BS or false hype.

April 13, 2017 at 5:26 pmHi Wendy ~ Another awesome set in this release!! Perfect for any card maker that has children/grandchildren in school. OR for a teacher/retired teacher like me. Since I posted about my Dad in an earlier post, I think the teacher that made an unforgettable impact on me is Sister Aileen. She was the teacher that watched over me and held my hand after my Dad passed away when I was 10 years old. Sister Aileen would take me for walks during lunch and we would just talk. Although it was M-A-N-Y years ago (47 to be exact) I think of her often and fondly. I can’t wait to place an order tomorrow!! Thanks for always coming up with unique stamps and dies. ~HUGS~
