We promise that each day will be full of inspiration, and as always, you’ll have a shot at winning one of our FIVE GIVEAWAYS! All you need to do is leave a comment for your chance to win!
Today, We’re excited to be sharing three new products that are part of our Sweet Chic Collection illustrated by Simonne Clay.
We have been bursting at the seams keeping our newest product a BIG secret – and we know you’re going to fall in love with it as much as we have. We can’t wait to see how you will use them!
SugarPea Designs is proud to introduce our brand new line of patterned papers.
Introducing: Whatever The Weather Patterned Paper Collection
Full of the happiest colors in the rainbow and the perfect touch of whimsy, Whatever The Weather is everything you will need to create projects that are sure to brighten anyone’s day.
Our exclusive heavyweight cardstock paper pads measures 4.25″ x 5.50″. Designed to make A2 card making quick and easy, but can be also used on any of your paper crafting projects. Our 20 sheet paper pads include 2 each of 10 different designs.
____________________________________________________
You’ll want to pair our Whatever The Weather Patterned Paper Collection with the perfectly coordinated and matching stamp and SugarCut die sets.
Whatever The Weather is a fun and happy 4×6 stamp set featuring a variety of images and sentiments that will help you to send cheerful greetings that are sure to brighten anyone’s day.
____________________________________________________
Whatever The Weather – SugarCuts is a coordinating and stand alone 13 piece die set. Make quick and easy cards with this weather themed die set. Just add a little sunshine here, a few raindrops there and you will be minutes away from a great design!
____________________________________________________
Now if all of these new products are not exciting enough, we have MORE! I gave glimpses of our new SugarPuff foam sheets a few weeks back and all week long you’ll see lots of inspiration that will have you adding this fun product to your shopping cart this Friday.
SugarPuff foam can be used for unlimited craft projects. Each packages contains (10) “4×6” sheets of 3mm white foam which cuts easily with scissors or any die cutting machine. Create eye catchings accents with your dies and add beautiful dimension to your paper crafting projects.
____________________________________________________
And last, but certainly not least, we are proud to introduce Little Things from Lucy’s Cards.
Each Sparkly Shaker Selection consists of a variety of sequins, micro beads, seed beads and confetti shapes. Perfect for creating shaker cards, embellishing scrapbooking pages…the possibilities are endless! Sequins are packaged in a resealable clear zip lock bag for convenient storage and contains approx. 1 tablespoon of sparkling embellishments.
*** Please visit our store to view all of the available Sparkly Shaker Selections ***
I created a simple and quick card that also has lots of fun dimension and details! I started by selecting the cloud paper from our Whatever The Weather Pattern Paper Collection and then used the clouds from the coordinating SugarCuts die set to cut 3 different sized clouds from the paper. **Yes, the clouds in the die are the exact size as the clouds in the paper pad!! How fun is that?!?!**
I cut the same clouds again but this time with SugarPuff foam, adhered them together and then laid the clouds back into the paper where they were cut from. I just love the fun dimension this created!! Using the polka dotted umbrella image from the Whatever the Weather stamp set, I did a little tone on tone stamping and then popped the center of the umbrella up with SugarPuff foam as well. This time I used a Copic marker to color the edges of the SugarPuff to match the orange of the ink and cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment in white and added a few sequins (Atmosphere) to finish things off.

April 11, 2016 at 6:08 amWhat a cute collection! I LIKE to spend a rainy afternoon in bed with a good book and some hot cocoa. I don’t usually GET to do that, however, due to work. So, for example, today was a rainy day. What did I do? I graded homework and prepped for this week’s classes. So much for doing what I LIKE to do. 🙂

April 11, 2016 at 8:42 amI was really excited to see the Weather and more collection and it is beyond amazing. Totally love the coordinating, colorful PP, stamps and dies. And DT’s executed them in their creations soooooo beautifully!!!
I love rains and the earthly scents (Petrichor). Rains are beautiful, one of the best seasons out of the four to me( amazing and romantic)in India. I always sit on my veranda and enjoy my snacks with a cup of tea. I enjoy the sounds of rain water gushing through the drains on streets, the water dropping on the plastic roof it’s a pleasant music in itself.

April 11, 2016 at 8:46 pmThis is a sweet set! Whenever possible, I paper craft on rainy days, of course! However, it there are only a few drops coming down and it’s warm outside, I might be working in the garden. Some people don’t realized that rain makes garden chores easier! But, let’s face it… when it’s nasty outside, most of us would rather be indoors. So off to the craft room I go. I’m lucky that I can do that! Thanks for the chance to win!

April 12, 2016 at 11:34 amThe most fun we’ve ever had was on a rainy day when my husband and I played and danced in the rain with our not yet walking son laughing and giggling the whole time.
