Hi there crafters! Linda here today at the SugarPea Designs blog with a card full of monkey fun! These cute little fellows come from the Chunky Monkey stamp set!
I choose a slimline card base for this fun card from white cardstock and masked the sides of my card base to keep nice, clean white borders. I then started blending a background using a blending tool and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added a few leaves using the Leaf Canopy Stencil, a blending tool and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.
For the bottom part I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a die from the Card Front Element Builder set. I blended this piece with Brushed Corduroy and Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink and stamped the fun text from the set ‘It’s your Birthday, go Bananas!’ on the bottom. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the stamp set before adding them on to my card base using dimensionals.
