Good Morning Sugar Peeps! Tracey here today to share one of my favourite things to do with what I call multi-use stamp sets. It always makes me happy when I buy one stamp set that I can use for many different types of cards. When choosing a multi-use stamp set I look for images that can convey many messages and a wide variety of sentiments. SugarPea Designs Whatever The Weather stamps and SugarCuts fit the bill perfectly. Today I have a couple cards to share with you both using the same set but with different meanings.
My first card is one I would send to make someone smile and who doesn’t love to do that. I started with a Zig Zag Stitched Circle which I blended Distress Oxide Ink on. Then I die cut the stitched rainfall, the rainbow and the clouds from the Whatever the Weather SugarCuts. I stamped the heart raindrops and adhered the circle with foam tape and finally added a few Stickles filled clear sequins.
My second card uses the same stitched rainfall as the first card but paired with a different sentiment to send get well wishes to a friend. I die cut another Zig Zag Stitched Circle which I blended Distress Oxide Ink on. Then I die cut the stitched rainfall and added the heart stamped raindrops. I die cut the umbrella pole in grey and yellow and then paper pieced the yellow handle. The umbrella was cut in yellow and then adhered with foam tape and then Stickles filled clear sequins were added. Finally the circle was adhered with foam tape.
Thank you for joining me today and I hope that I have given you something to think about when making your next crafty purchase from SugarPea Designs.
