Just Because

Hi peeps. How are you doing? Vera here. I’ve been spending quite a bit of time coloring lately. I call it my color therapy. 🙂

I am really into coloring flowers, but of course I still love my critters as well. My card today is definitely showing my love for both.

For this card card, I started by stamping a bunch of flowers from Meadow Motifs and die cut them using the matching dies. I colored the flowers with Copic markers.

Then I stamped & die cut the bear from the Hey Honey set. I watercolored the bear and adhered it on the card and then adhered the flowers. Some I adhered with liquid glue and some with foam adhesive to create depth & layers. I finished by stamping a sentiment from the Topiary Garden set and added some enamel drops.

I realize during this time how much I appreciate getting real cards in the mail. It always brightens my day. Now, more than ever I try to send my cards out more regularly. I think we all crave and need those connections with each other more than ever. So, yes, this card will be out in the mail soon.
