Good morning! Ardyth here with this week’s Light Bulb Moment!
I love to look at my stamps and dies and try to think of different ways to use them. This rainbow (from Whatever the Weather SugarCuts) makes a perfect circular backrop for my sparkly thanks sentiment.
I started by cutting the rainbow twice. Instead of cutting from coloured cardstock, I cut from white and then coloured the strips with Copic markers.
To make it easier to position all those little strips, I cut a circle from Beautiful Baubles (The stitching works perfectly with the rainbow strips!) and put glue on it, to give my rainbow colours some place sticky to land.
I then cut my sentiment three times (two in black, one in sparkly sliver) and stacked them up for dimension. If you look very closely, you can see the seam between the two rainbows between the letters, but I think it’s all right. If you prefer, you could use a label die to cover that up and provide a base for your sentiment.
My gray panel is from Birthday Journal Card and also features stitching. I love that SugarPea products work so well together!
