Hi, Lisa here with today’s Light Bulb Moment post.
When you get happy mail what’s the first thing you do?
Turn it over to open it of course.
So I am showing you how to add a little extra love to the back of your envelopes that will surely make your recipient smile.
I’m sharing how you can make faux washi tape using Build A Background – Basics and whatever SugarPea sentiments you have on hand.
1. Close envelope with removeable tape.
2. Create two jagged masks (I used post-it notes) for the ends.
3.Place your masks creating the length you want.
4. Make sure no envelope is showing where you don’t want ink.
5. Peel away mask and stamp your sentiment (I used Versafine Onyx Black).
EASY PEASY

June 11, 2016 at 6:43 amThis is a great idea. Very clever Lisa! I like to stamp my flap sometimes with the same stamp that I use on the card. Its fun to receive something pretty or special that shows “on the outside” of the envelope that someone cares enough to do it! ♥ this!
