Please contact us within 7 days at hello@sugarpeadesigns.com to claim your prize.
Each month our Meant To Be Sent challenge will provide you with a theme and/or creative ideas to get you excited and motivated to send the cards you create. We will also provide you with the information for various card drives and organizations who accept donations of hand made cards for those in need.
This month may we suggest that you make a card for a friend or someone in your own home who could use a little encouragement.
For our Meant To Be Sent challenge, SugarPea Designs products are encouraged, but are not required to be eligible for the giveaway. All we ask is that you follow the theme and MAIL your card!
ENTRY LIMIT: 3 CARDS MAX. PER PERSON
One of the things I’m most proud of when it comes to SugarPea Designs products are there versatility to be used for a variety of occasions. I love using products in unexpected ways and that’s what I’ve done for my Encouragement themed card this month. Who says that Frankie can only come out to play during Halloween?!?! Not me!!
I love to tuck little notes and cards of encouragement into my children’s lunch boxes in the mornings while I make their lunch. But since they’re both middle schoolers now I try to only do it a few times a month so that I don’t completely ruin their “street cred” by getting a note from their mommy. LOL
But now that we’re into our second month of quarantine, I find that I really miss doing that for them (and they miss it too). So I decided to create a set of cute note cards to tuck under their school laptops to bring a smile to their face as they start their school day this morning – because frankly this distancing learning is not a lot of fun.
I started with coloring the adorable little Frankenstein guy from Monster Mash with Copic markers and then cut it with the coordinating SugarCut – Monster Mash die. I stamped the image twice more in light gray ink onto a white cardstock panel leaving room for the colored image to go into the center. The white panel was adhered to a Kraft square cardstock base.
I added a strip of green polka dot patterned paper from Spots & Stripes Pastel Paper Pad to ground my images. I then stamped the sentiment in Versamark Black Ink. A few randomly placed Nuvo drops finished things off.
I can’t wait to see your cards of encouragement that you’re giving to someone special this month. xo
Now, it’s your turn. You have until midnight EST, Sunday, May 31st to add your link and be eligible for a $25 Gift Voucher to be spent in the SugarPea Designs store. Our winner will be chosen at random to ensure that everyone has a chance to win!
