Hi, I am Lien Ricou, also known as idea_into_reality (on Instagram, YouTube and my blog). I am 24 years old and live in Belgium. Almost 4 years ago, I discovered the world of card making. A world filled with creativity, love, friendship, … and more creativity! Since then, I have been making cards every free moment in my life. Card making is my passion, my safe haven… I love using distress inks and copic markers on my cards.
Aside from card making, I also love music, baking and coffee (#coffeeaddict). I am super excited to be guest designing this month for SugarPea Designs. Let’s inspire each other!
I am super excited to share my first project for SugarPea Designs as guest designer this month! For today’s card, I created my favorite kind a card… a clean and simple card! If you are interested, a video tutorial can be found here.
I started by coloring the cute images from the Hey Fall stamp set from SugarPea Designs. I colored the images using copic markers. Afterwards, I used the matching dies to cut it out.
For the background, I used the Card Front Element Builder III from SugarPea Designs. First, I cut out the A2 panel from white card stock. Next, I ink blended a dark night sky using distress inks (Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky) on some left-over paper. I die cut the bars and ‘hello’ from the same die set out of the blended night sky.
With all the elements ready to go, I added them to my card base using several adhesives (playing a bit with dimension). I finished the card by adding some glitter to the scarf of the bear.
