Hi there! Kerin here with you, and today I’m sharing a sympathy card I recently made. Sympathy cards are the sort of thing nobody wants to make but everyone needs.
Typically when I make sympathy cards I don’t want to add a lot of layers and embellishments, mainly because I want the tone of the card to fit a somber occasion. The card I’m sharing today is only one layer for the main panel with the help of post-it notes:
I started by lining up two post-it notes across the front of my 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of white card stock, then stamped flowers from the Pretty Peonies set randomly. I flipped the card stock, then did the same thing on the other side, creating a “frame” for my sentiment.
Once I had finished coloring and added the sentiment from the Heartfelt Sympathy set, I mounted the main panel on gray and white cardstock to complete the look.
