Hi all! Kerin here with you and today I thought it would be fun to pick out a stamp set and make an assortment of cards, all using the same layout, stamp set and paper pad. I created the four cards below in under an hour, so this is definitely a project that is manageable with limited time! I’ll provide you with all the measurements below so that you can create your card assortment even quicker!
I chose the Barn to Be Wild set because 1. it’s one of my favorites (aren’t they all?) and 2. there are lots of adorable images and sentiments to customize my cards for many occasions! Also, there’s a coordinating SugarCut set, so you don’t even have to fussy cut! The Countryside Charm paper pad was the perfect accompaniment to this set, with so many fabulous designs that work with all the stamps in this set! Here are the cards I created:
I just love the sentiments in this set, they’re clever and witty and so perfect for many different occasions!
The base is 4-1/4 x 11″, folded at 5-1/2″. Next I added a layer of a coordinating card stock measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-5/8″. Then, I added a piece of paper from the Countryside Charm paper pad, cut with the Card Front Element Builder SugarCut for a scalloped edge.
For my focal image I cut two strips; white 4-1/8 x 1-3/8″ which I stamped the sentiment on and added my colored image, then layered that on a strip of coordinating cardstock measuring 4-1/8 x 1-5/8″.
I hope my cards today will get you thinking about sets you have that can be used for lots of different cards in a quick and easy way!
