Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here and today I have a cute, pastel colored project to share with you. My card combines my love of soft coloring with cute critters.
Since my project for the SPD birthday bash involved playing with some oldie but goodie sets, it also remind me of how much I love this raccoon from Indian Summer set. So, I decided to give it more love. 😉
For the background, I used the Diagonal Striped Cover Plate. This is actually left over from my card for the Autism Awareness Hop. I try not to waste whenever I can, so I used it here! I stamped, diecut and colored the raccoon with Copic markers and adhered it to the card base with pop dots.
For a while I was a bit lost at what to do next. I wanted to keep the clean look, yet I felt something else was needed. Luckily I rummaging through my SPD stash, and saw this banner from Party Banner Duo. It was just what I needed!!
The sentiment is from an older set, but one that I find useful for many occasions, the Special Delivery set.
There is my card for today!. I hope you enjoy this cutie pie and don’t forget, the SugarPea Birthday Bash is still going on. Make sure you check out THIS POST.
Well peeps, that’s it for me on this lovely Thursday. Cheers….
