Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here and am so excited to be here today because I am sharing a card using one of my favorite images.
When I was first painting this cutie, I never thought I’d get to see it made into a stamp. So, needless to say, this set For Pugs Sake has a super special place in my heart.
For this card, I started by stenciling the background using English Bond Brick Stencil with pink, peach and yellow ink pad. Once that was done, I stamped, colored and die cut the pug and the grass and adhered them to the panel. Then, I went ahead and glued the panel to the card base.
I am not sure if you can see it in this pic, but when my Brother Scan ‘n Cut die cut the image, somehow it cut the balloon string. It might not be that obvious, but I couldn’t stand it, so I just had to cover it up. Thus the sentiment location where it is. 🙂
I almost left the card the way it is, but then I remembered that this set also has a teeny weeny snail & bird that I thought would make the perfect accent for this card. So, I added them and sure enough, I think it makes the card even cuter.
Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Hope you enjoy today’s cuteness and I wish you a happy Thursday! Cheers…..
