Welcome to this week’s Design Team Feature. It’s Amy here with you today, and I’m so glad you stopped by because I’ve got a clean and simple design for you today using my favorite set from last month’s release, Topiary Garden.
It is March after all, so all thoughts are on March Madness and St. Patrick’s Day in my world. In honor of all that, I chose the heart shaped topiary stamp to create a shamrock, inking up my stamp in three shades of green using the rock ‘n roll method.
I then used a stem from the Pretty Peonies stamp set, masking off the bud portion of the stamp so that only the stem was inked up. I filled in the open space with a light green Zig marker and then stamped the sentiment from Topiary Garden on top in black ink. I just adore the fonts used in this set!
Thank you so much for sharing a part of your day with me here on the SugarPea Designs blog. Wishing you a sweet day!

April 6, 2018 at 10:46 amI love clean and simple images on a white background; they make a great card design. Had you known prior to stamping what stamps you were going to use or did you experiment on scrap until you found the right combination? I would love to see the ‘Rock and Roll’ stamping method on a video tutorial. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O) xx
