I’m pretty excited about the card I have to share with you today! With the end of the school year quickly approaching, I’ve been busy creating little cards for the kids and their teachers. This card is for my soon-to-be 2nd Grade son, Nathan. Although it’s a struggle to get him to do his homework most nights, he excels at Math and he has aced every single Spelling Test this year! This was just a little something to let him know just how proud his Daddy and I are of him. xoxo
I just can’t seem to get enough of the adorable baby goat from our Totes Ma Goats stamp set and I had so much fun pairing it with accessory images and sentiments from our Hat’s Off To You stamp set.
I added real cork for texture and popped the images up with foam tape for dimension. I also combined sentiments from each of the sets for some puny graduation fun! It’s always such a thrill when an idea actually turns out just as you had imagined. And I have to say that I had just as much fun finishing the inside. I thought it would be cute to give the goat a little something to snack on and used a craft knife to place the diploma in his mouth.
I hope I’ve inspired you to have some fun at combining SugarPea Designs stamps together in new and interesting ways! You can find both of the stamp sets I used HERE.
