This week’s sketch features a circular panel perfect for a smaller image or sentiment, layered atop two different sized rectangles. Feel free to make it your own by rotating or by changing the shapes of the panels. And remember, that each project you link up and share below is an entry to WIN a Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Boutique worth up to $15!
The rules are very simple…
Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided.
- SugarPea Design stamps are NOT required to play along or to win but would be appreciated
- You may rotate/flip the sketch & replace shapes – so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable
- Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword: SPDSS16 so that we may check out your beautiful work
- Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz shown below.
- One randomly selected winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe. However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the prize to $15
Here’s my take on the sketch using the Bountiful Blessings stamp set and the SugarCuts – Layered Treat Label die.
For my card I started out with base of dark chocolate cardstock and chose designer papers rich with fall colors from Farm House and machine stitched along the panels. Next, using the new Sugar Cuts – Layered Treat Label die, I cut out chipboard, cardstock and cork and stacked them together with foam tape for depth and dimension. I chose one of the pumpkins from Bountiful Blessings to place in the center of the label and added a strip of orange burlap behind for a pop of color and texture. The sentiment stamped in Vintage Distress and a few little wooden dots finish things off.
You can find Bountiful Blessings and the SugarCuts – Layered Treat Label die HERE!
