Our lovable bear is geared up for summer! This delightful collection from Stephany Zerbe features our adorable bear in two poses along with a variety of summertime images and sentiments. Dress and accessorize your bear with swim trunks, a handkerchief, a beach ball and more. This set offers loads of summer scene building options.
I love simple cards with loads of white space, they’re hard for me to do because I always try to fill that space but today I think I found a good middle ground for me. My card still lots of white space (and white images) along with texture and of course SPARKLE!! The great thing about CAS (Clean & Simple) cards is that they are really quick to put together.
I started by cutting my card panel with the pierced and skinny stripes dies from SugarCut – Card Front Element Builder II. Next, I placed teal blue glitter cardstock behind the skinny stripes. The Hey Summer images were colored with Copics and cut with the coordinating SugarCut Hey Summer die set. Since this stamp set has so many accessory images that the bear can hold, the die was designed so that the arm of the bear cuts just enough to tuck those images in his paw…because little details like that matter!! 🙂
I stamped my favorite sentiments from the set in Versafine Onyx Black ink, added glossy accents to the popsicle and popped all of the images up with foam tape. I just love the way this turned out and think this be a cute card to send to a college student, don’t you?!?
