Hi there! Franci here with you today, with a sweet little card set made with the adorable Swan Love mini set.
Cute, clean and simple: that’s my favorite!
To create my backgrunds I masked up the front bottom of my white cardbases and inked them up with Distress inks oxide first ( I used Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade and Evergreen Bough). I let them dry a bit and then I went over them with the Cute Hearts stencil and the same ink colors.
I used copics to give my little swans some details and dimension and a light blue ink to stamp the lake feature. I love how the coordinated dies cut all the images so perfectly everytime, it really does make a difference when you’re working on clean and simple cards I think.
For the little hearts at the bottom of each card I chose some soft colors cardstock that coordinate with my inks and die cut them with the Vintage Telephone SugarCut set. If you don’t have cardstock that matches, you can easily die cut them out of white cardstock and sponge some ink on them.
