Thanks For Sticking By Me

This time of year when the weather is dipping into single digits her in the Midwest I start thinking of warm places.  I feel so blessed that I have a crafty addiction because I can take a mental road trip anywhere in the world.

I stamped lots of the cacti, pots and florals from Stuck on You in different colors and then die cut them all.  I arranged them on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base.  This made it easy to pick up the whole design and try different backgrounds.

I liked the lacy look of the Geo Floral Cover Plate over a blue distress ink panel.

I thought all the images were getting lost on the intricate cut background so I added a few solid card stock Zig Zag Stitched Circles.  The solids help break up the busy patterns and focus your eye on the cacti.

Valentines’ Day is just around the corner so I stamped some of the heart shaped cacti in pink!  Did you notice them?

It looks like another beautiful day!
