Good Morning SugarPeeps!
We are so thrilled to be once again taking part in the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop as both a participant and a sponsor! I have a sweet little coffee note card to share with you today.
I started with a kraft 3×3 base which I then watermarked with a snowflake from Flurry of Warm Wishes using Versamark embossing ink. I decorated the sleeve of the SugarCut – Coffee To Go Cup by heat embossing another snowflake design this time in white and then inked over it with BluePrint Sketch distress ink.
You know how you’re suppose to use an embossing tool to ensure you don’t have stray embossing powder stick where it shouldn’t?!? Well, I was in such a hurry, I forgot to use it and ended up with fine bits of white embossing powder all over…which just made it look more like snow. Don’t you love happy little accidents like that?!?! I stamped a sentiment from Mugs & Kisses in black ink directly onto the card base and a second sentiment from Flurry of Warm Wishes onto a strip of black cardstock and heat embossed it in white. I finished things off by adding a few white Nuvo Drops.
