Welcome to the SugarPea Designs blog today! It’s Kara here with a birthday card featuring the new stamp set Later Gator! There are lots of accessories for this gator which makes it so versatile for many occasions!
Ms. Ali Gator was stamped lightly with Copic friendly green ink and colored with Copic markers. Her balloon was also lightly inked with pink ink and colored with Copics. The front panel was blended with a variety of green inks through the Laurel Leaves stencil. After stenciling, I ink blended over the stenciled area fading it out to white. The sentiment from Later Gator was stamped with clear ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I then cut out a window using a Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle, and raised the panel with craft foam. To complete the card, I attached silver thread behind the balloon with a glue dot and glued the other end to her wrist. I tied a bow of silver thread and glued it over the end of the string.
