It’s a day to celebrate with your card-making friends and a great opportunity to get ahead on all the holiday cards you need to make and send this season!
And what better way to celebrate than with a HUGE store wide sale?!?! You can save 20% when you shop with us by using coupon code: WORLD15
We hope you will set aside some time this weekend to get crafty with us and then link up your creations for a chance to WIN a $25 SPD Gift Certificate. And it couldn’t be easier to win…all you have to do is create ANY themed card and link it below. Easy Peasy, right?
Lets’ kick off the festivities with some inky inspiration from myself and the SugarPea Designers.
Here’s a quick and easy shaker card I put together with one of my favorite sentiments from our Sparkle & Shine stamp set. Sparkle & Shine is this month’s Sweet Incentive stamp set and is FREE when you spend $60* or more.
This card has SO much sparkle & shine that it was difficult getting a good photo.
I started out by creating a circle opening for my shaker card with the SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Circles. I then created decorative strips with silver foil and double sided tape. I heat embossed the sentiment and diamonds onto cardstock with silver embossing powder and added sequins and fine glitter to inside of the shaker. I just adore how this turned out and think cards of encouragement are great to have on hand.
Now take a look at what the SugarPea Designers have created to inspire you to get crafty today.
Anita’s eye catching design features our Prehistoric Pals stamp and coordinating die set.
Brianna’s trendy watercolored background is a stunning backdrop for the this adorable Prehistoric Pal.
Lori captured Fall in all it’s splendor with her CAS design using our Stitched Autumn Icons.
Wendy’s designs always impress and this amazing stair-step card is no exception. Her outdoor scene features little critters from Bee My Honey, Teddy Bear Picnic, Unfrog-gettable and One Big Hoppy Family.
Jen’s Halloween card is a spooktacular delight! Her beautifully colored Eek-A-Boo ghost looks right at home with distress ink background and cobweb corners. She achieved layers of dimension by adding tiny bats from the Stitched Autumn Icons in front and behind a vellum panel created with the Scattered Stars Journal Card.
Jenny never disappoints with her designs and this card featuring the Prehistoric Pals stamp set is no exception! She also incorporated a few of our SugarCuts dies into her design including the SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Circles, the SugarCuts – Heart Journal Card, and the SugarCuts – Gift Tag.
Lesley inked up our ever popular Merry Christmoose stamp set and created this adorable Holiday card! It has a such a nice rustic feel to it!
Kim created this not-so-spooky Halloween card featuring our Eek-a-Boo stamp set. She created the moon using our SugarCuts – Zig Zag Stitched Circles and some distress ink and layered it over the tag she created with our SugarCuts – Gift Tag.
This year we are one of the many sponsors of the 2015 Caring Hearts Card Drive which kicks off today and lasts until Nov. 27th. This amazing card drive is put together by our very own Vera Yates. Last year Vera received and distributed over 3500 cards to the elderly in selected nursing homes all over North America. We hope you will join in and help the drive to reach as many nursing homes as possible and continue to spread joy. What a wonderful way to brighten their holiday season by simply sharing our love of card making.
