Happy Friday, Lisa here today with my Light Bulb Moment.
I am also playing in the CASology Challenge #209 cue word: Watercolor with my friend Rosemary.

This card whips up pretty quick, here are my step by step instructions:
1. I put half a sheet of watercolor paper in my MISTI (about same size as inside of MISTI)
2. Inked up Watercolor Brush Strokes (one image at a time) using Tim Holtz Distress Inks)
3. I placed the image where I wanted it, inked up, misted with water then stamped (some colors I stamped two or three times).
4. I used the second largest SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle to cut out my panel (that is why the large paper works well, you can position the die where you want it and room to play with).
5. I stamped my sentiment using Teacher’s Pet then popped up the panel with foam tape on black cardstock!
We Love seeing your SPD creations on the SugarPea Designs Fan Page.

August 8, 2016 at 12:44 amOh, Lisa, this is beautiful, and I love how you’ve used these strokes to make it look like real watercoloring without the work. Great quick and really pretty cards using this technique! And I love the dies! You are amazing, my friend! Hugs!
